1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and MKIX Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its registered office in Delhi ("MKIX", "we", "us" or "our"), governing your use of the i2 platform at https://iitiimjobassistant.in, our WhatsApp channel, dashboard and related services (together, the "Services").

By requesting an invite, creating an account, purchasing a plan or using the Services, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and do not require a physical or digital signature.

2. The Services

i2 is an automated job-search assistant. Depending on your plan, the Services may include:

• searching job sources such as LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, iitiimjobs, company career pages and alumni-shared listings for roles that match your profile and preferences;
• generating tailored versions of your résumé and application answers for each role;
• submitting applications on your behalf through job portals, applicant-tracking systems (such as Workday, Lever and Greenhouse), company websites and email;
• applying to jobs you send us by link, post or screenshot over WhatsApp;
• finding relevant contacts and alumni, and sending LinkedIn messages or connection/referral requests using credits;
• tracking replies, interview invites and outcomes in a dashboard and notifying you over WhatsApp; and
• support from a relationship manager during published support hours.

Features vary by plan as described on our pricing page. We may add, change or remove features from time to time, and will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what you have paid for.

3. Eligibility and accounts

• The Services are invite-only and intended for current students and alumni of Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). We may verify eligibility manually, including by reviewing your LinkedIn profile, and may decline or revoke access at our discretion.
• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract under Indian law.
• You must provide accurate, current and complete information and keep it updated.
• Your account is personal to you. You may not share it, sell it, or let anyone else use it. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login details confidential.

4. Authorisation to act on your behalf

By enabling the Services, you appoint and authorise MKIX, as your limited agent, to:

• search for and evaluate job opportunities against the preferences, filters and match threshold you set;
• create and submit applications, résumés, cover letters and answers to screening questions in your name, without seeking your approval for each individual application, where the role meets your settings;
• send emails and LinkedIn messages and connection or referral requests in your name, up to your plan's credit limits; and
• receive and read employer responses relating to applications made through the Services, to track and report outcomes to you.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree that:

• all information in your profile and résumé is true, accurate and not misleading, and you have the right to share it;
• you will review the résumé versions, applications and messages available in your dashboard and tell us promptly about any errors;
• applications submitted through the Services are made in your name and you are responsible for them, including for attending interviews, responding to employers and honouring any representations made;
• you will tell us about companies you do not wish to apply to (for example, your current employer) using the exclusion settings; and
• you will not use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purpose, including impersonating another person or applying with false credentials.

6. Third-party platforms

The Services interact with websites and platforms we do not own or control, such as LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, iitiimjobs, applicant-tracking systems and employer career sites ("Third-Party Platforms"). You acknowledge that:

• your use of each Third-Party Platform is governed by its own terms of use and privacy policy, which you are responsible for reviewing and complying with;
• some Third-Party Platforms restrict or prohibit automated access, automated messaging or the use of third-party tools, and may limit, suspend or close accounts they believe are used in this way;
• where you connect your own account on a Third-Party Platform, you do so at your own discretion and risk, and MKIX is not responsible for any restriction, suspension or loss of that account, or any action taken by the platform operator;
• Third-Party Platforms may change their interfaces, availability or policies at any time, which may affect or interrupt our ability to provide certain features; and
• we are not responsible for the content, accuracy, legality or availability of job listings, or for the conduct of employers, recruiters or platform operators.

Where we are able to, we will notify you if a Third-Party Platform feature becomes unavailable and may substitute alternative sources.

7. No guarantee of outcomes

We are not an employer, recruitment agency or placement agency acting for any employer, and we do not charge employers for placing you. Match scores and statistics shown on the Platform are estimates for your guidance only.

8. Plans, payments and credits

• Plans. Paid plans (currently monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly) include a monthly allowance of job applications and credits, as described on our pricing page at the time of purchase. One credit equals one LinkedIn message or connection request, unless stated otherwise.
• Free trial. We may offer a limited number of free applications to new members. Trial terms may change or be withdrawn at any time.
• Billing. Fees are payable in advance for the full billing period through our payment gateway partner. Prices are in Indian Rupees and [inclusive/exclusive] of GST, which will be shown at checkout.
• Unused allowance. Unused applications and credits do not carry forward to the next month and have no cash value, unless we state otherwise in writing.
• Renewal. [Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. / Plans do not renew automatically; you will be reminded before expiry.]
• Price changes. We may change prices for future billing periods with at least [15] days' notice. Changes do not affect a period you have already paid for.

9. Cancellation and refunds

• You may cancel your plan at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Because applications are submitted and costs are incurred continuously, fees for a billing period are generally non-refundable once applications have begun under that period.
• If you request cancellation within [7] days of purchase and fewer than [10] applications have been submitted under the new plan, we will refund the fee in full [or pro rata].
• If we materially fail to provide the Services you paid for, or terminate your account without cause, we will refund the unused portion of your fees on a pro-rata basis.
• Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within [7–10] working days.

10. Acceptable use

You must not:

• provide false, misleading or someone else's information or credentials;
• copy, scrape, resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Services or any data obtained from them;
• reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to access the source code or underlying models of the Platform, except as permitted by law;
• interfere with or disrupt the Platform, introduce malware, or attempt unauthorised access to any system or account;
• use the Services to send spam, harassing, defamatory, discriminatory or unlawful messages; or
• use the Services in breach of any applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000.

11. Intellectual property

The Platform, its software, design, text, graphics, logos and the "i2" name and marks are owned by or licensed to MKIX and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services for your personal job search during your subscription.

You keep ownership of your résumé and other content you provide ("Your Content"). You grant MKIX a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, copy, adapt and transmit Your Content solely to provide and improve the Services, including to generate tailored résumés and submit applications. Tailored résumés generated for you may be used by you freely for your own job search.

If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without obligation to you.

12. Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Services, you consent to your personal data being shared with prospective employers, recruiters and hiring platforms as needed to submit applications on your behalf.

13. Communications

You agree to receive service communications from us by email, SMS and WhatsApp, including application confirmations, employer replies and account notices, from our official number and addresses. You may opt out of promotional messages at any time; you cannot opt out of essential service messages while your account is active. Messages sent by anyone claiming to represent i2 from an unofficial number should be reported to us.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access, with notice where reasonably possible, if you breach these Terms, provide false information, no longer meet eligibility requirements, fail to pay fees, or if your use creates legal or security risk for us, other users or Third-Party Platforms. You may close your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 6, 7, 11, 15, 16, 17 and 19) will survive.

15. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Automated matching, résumé tailoring and form-filling use software, including AI models, that may occasionally produce errors, omissions or inaccurate content. While we work to prevent this, we do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every application will be submitted successfully or correctly. You are encouraged to review your dashboard regularly.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MKIX and its directors, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of employment opportunity, income, reputation or data, arising from your use of the Services or any Third-Party Platform.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services is limited to the amount of fees you paid to MKIX in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold MKIX harmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from inaccurate or unlawful information you provide, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of a Third-Party Platform's terms that you were responsible for complying with.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on the Platform with a new "Last updated" date and notify you of material changes by email, WhatsApp or a dashboard notice at least [15] days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you may cancel your plan before the changes take effect.

19. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved within 30 days shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be [City], India, and proceedings shall be in English. Subject to the foregoing, the courts at [City], India shall have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents you from approaching a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month of receipt.

21. General

• Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any plan details shown at purchase are the entire agreement between you and MKIX regarding the Services.
• Severability. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
• Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
• Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages or policy changes of Third-Party Platforms.
